What is meant by ‘Circa’ with respect to time? For ex, AD = after death, BC = before christ, and what is Circa
Circa means “around” in Latin. It literally means “around”. So you would say this happned circa 12AD, which means around 12AD. Think about it, circa/circle. And a circle goes around and around. And by the way, AD is Anno Domini not after death.
